Supply Co. and Work Louder have unveiled the kbd-1.0-codex-micro, a compact control panel for developers who work with multiple Codex agents simultaneously. The device displays the status of active tasks using RGB lighting, making it easy to see at a glance whether an agent is thinking, executing a command, waiting for a response, or has already finished.

The tactile keys can be assigned to frequent actions: accept or reject a result, enable voice input, or open a new chat. The joystick launches common Codex workflows, including pull request reviews, bug detection, and code refactoring.

A dedicated dial lets you adjust the agent’s reasoning level while it is working: fast mode is suitable for simple requests, while deeper analysis is designed for complex tasks. The package also includes 32 interchangeable keycaps featuring Codex icons.

Why it matters

  • The control pad simplifies working with multiple Codex agents simultaneously and reduces the need to switch between chats.
  • Physical controls speed up developers’ repetitive tasks, from code reviews to starting a new conversation.
  • RGB indicators make each AI agent’s status visible without opening the corresponding chat.
